MEP is the short form for Message Exchange Pattern. In Windows communication foundation, 3 types of Message exchange patterns are allowed. They are:
Datagram, is often called as "fire and forget". There is no guarantee, whether the message delivered or not.
Request and response, indicates every request have its response. Unlike the first one it provide guarantee for the message.
Duplex mode look like a chat application.
